MTI Home Video will be releasing later this month, THE WITCHES HAMMER, a "high action vampire horror film" on November 24, 2009. The film will be starring Claudia Coulter (Jane Eyre, Coma Girl: The State of Grace), Stephanie Beacham (Beverly Hills, 90210, Dracula A.D. 1972), and Jason Tompkins (Psychoville).
Synopsis (courtesty MTI Home Video):
Rebecca is brought back from the brink of death by a top secret agency. She is trained as a lethal assassin and sent on missions to kill that which she has become, a Vampire. Thrown into a quest for an ancient book- powerful enough to raise the dead- Rebecca must utilize her training to face Vampires, Demons, and Witches all vying for the book and its awesome power!
The film was written, directed, and produced by James Eaves (Hellbreeder, Sanitarium), with Steve Barnes (Bordello Death Tales) and Laura Tennant (Bane) also producing.
Based on the cover art and Claudia Coulter being in it (she is smoking hot!), this film intrigues me. Look for a review to follow this press release shortly. The film comes out on dvd on November 24, 2009.
